CPMS Complete Successful commission with Network Rail

CPMS has finished a 9 month commission with the Network Rail East West Rail team after successfully supporting the environmental management and consents role. As part of the commission, CPMS assisted Network Rail in completing a number of strategic objectives, including playing an important role in the Blackthorn and Paddington TWA public inquiry process, acting as expert witness for envornment.
CPMS also assisted in the following:
-Management of specialist enviromental consultants with regards to Wolvercote Tunnel bat licence.
-Meetings and liaison with regulatory authorities.
-Support and managment of the Carillion Buckingham JV Environment Team
-Contributing to the commercial process to engage specilaist consultants for ecology and EIA contract.
-Management of EIA consultant and ecology/de-vegetation contractors.
As well as the valuable contributions stated above, the CPMS Resource embedded into the team saved over £100,000 on the Walsall to Rugley Electrification project by ensuring that the appropriate approach was taken to management of protected specie risks.
