CPMS review West Anglia Mainline Capacity Improvement Project
1 February 2017
CPMS, working closely with Network Rail and Volker Fitzpatrick, was commissioned to undertake an extensive review of WAML to support the projects request for GRIP 5-8 funding. Through an extensive three month value management process the collaborative team substantiated a £25m reduction in the anticpated final cost of the project, driving down the assumptions and risks around the core elements of the project. In parallel, CPMS assisted in driving through a revised, more robust design and construction programme, a new organisational structure and brought in a number of additional project control processes.
